With 15 years of industry experience under his belt, Fredi Jimenez has always dreamt of owning his own business. So, when he saw a chance to make that dream a reality, he took it.
Founded in 2020 and located in Valatie, NY, Tequila Sunrise Restaurant & Bar is a family-owned & operated Mexican restaurant that specializes in traditional authentic Mexican dishes from Oaxaca, Mexico.

“Thought I was just hitting up a tiny taqueria in a sleepy town. But they have an impressive meal and drink menu. It's going to be a great spot once it gets warm again. Cubana Torta must be tried. A veritable 'kitchen sink' of Mexican flavors: Mexican bread coated with black bean sauce and chipotle mayo... Lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, Mexican string cheese, and jalapeno. Egg, ham, thinly pounded chicken cutlet, carnitas, and chorizo sausage.”
